DIRECTIONS

What you can do at impet.space

Seven directions where juniors work on real projects with mentors. For each one: the tasks, the portfolio result and the stack teams work with today.

✳ Stack is current as of October 2026

Development

Build products and write code that works.

Write code for live products: from interface layout to APIs and databases. Work with designers, analysts and QA, go through code review with a mentor and learn to ship tasks to production.

What you will do

  • Frontend and backend features from the tracker
  • REST APIs, database schemas and migrations
  • Unit and e2e tests for your code
  • Code review: your merge requests and others'

What goes into your portfolio

  • Merge requests in a real repository
  • Features that real users rely on
  • Team development experience with Git flow

UX/UI Design

Design clear and convenient interfaces.

Design interfaces that real people use: research user needs, build prototypes, maintain the design system and hand designs off to development.

What you will do

  • Interviews and usability tests
  • User flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • Design system components and tokens
  • Developer handoff and design review

What goes into your portfolio

  • Case studies with research and metrics
  • Designs shipped in the product
  • Experience working with developers

  • Process models in BPMN and UML diagrams
  • API and integration specifications
  • SQL queries to check hypotheses and data

What goes into your portfolio

  • Specs for a real product
